Alan, pictured above, was a skinny 18-year-old when I first started training him. He was one of those guys that 'just couldn't put weight on'. Within about eight weeks, Alan put on just over 10kg of muscle as a result of our fitness program and some dietary suggestions.

"I am a middle aged woman and have had a few different personal trainers throughout the last 10 years. Over recent times I have developed a moderate arthritic condition in my right wrist that until recently limited the use of my hand in daily tasks. I could not even hold a full water bottle to pour a glass of water and experienced pain at most simple tasks. I also have several other imitations, including back and hip problems.
BUT merely 4 weeks into my training sessions with Workout Savvy, I feel like a new person. Sav has treated all my insecurities and limitations with such expertise that I am astonished with my results. My confidence has returned, balance and stability have improved immensely and to my delight, due to Sav’s carefully planned sessions, I have regained so much use of my hand. Simple tasks that seemed impossible before can now be accomplished without a second thought.
I cannot recommend Sav highly enough. Each session is full of different and unusual methods of exercising and has never yet been repetitive. "At 26 years old I was diagnosed with an auto immune arthritis condition. Within days I was hit hard with steroids as a quick fix to temporarily ease the symptoms before I could sort out a proper treatment plan. As a result I put on a massive 14kgs in a short period of time and it all went downhill from there. Ever since I had battled with my weight, confidence, mild depression from medications and general change in lifestyle, even having to give up my beloved hairdressing job.
I had tried it on my own several times with fitness classes and other trainers but continued to fail until a certain ad caught my eye when I was browsing for a private personal trainer...the rest is history! I have not looked back since the first day I met Sav! Our journey is far from over but since training with Sav I have lost a huge 17kgs and haven't felt this good in a long time. Not only have I regained some confidence but I have seen some serious improvements in my condition and general health as my condition can be influenced and controlled by diet, sleep and overall weight on my joints..all of which have improved since my weight loss! Sav has always taken the time to really personalise my sessions and keep my sessions low impact in order to work with my arthritis. It definitely hasn't been easy but with Sav by my side I have never wanted to give up and will continue to strive towards my weight goals. I will never be able to thank you enough for the continuous support and motivation!

"Sav’s training is great – we (that is me and 2 other family members) have been with Sav for three years now.
Last year I started going through peri-menopause and I know that if it wasn’t for Sav’s training I would be in terrible shape and feeling older. Sav is thorough in understanding our personal goals, knowing the areas we each want to improve and concentrating on those while also making sure we all still get a good whole body workout.
The training sessions are fun and fulfilling. As three of us train at the same time, it is challenging for Sav to make sure all of us get the most out of each session as we each have different goals, but it happens. My husband wants to tone and strengthen (tick), my son wants to build muscle and bulk up (big tick!) and I want to slim a bit, tone and strengthen (tick). Sav deals with it all.
I feel the strongest I have ever felt and I feel well, even though this is a period of many personal changes. Exercising at this stage of life is vital but I know I wouldn’t do any if it wasn’t for Sav’s sessions. The van rocks up and off we go, even if I don’t feel like it. Exercising does lift my mood and inevitably within a short space of time I am very happy to be training.
My legs are toned, actually I was having a leg wax recently and the lady asked if I exercised -- a nice compliment I thought. My abs are good but the approaching change of life has made me need to work harder now to keep them toned, my arms are good too but as with my abs, I need to work harder now to keep them toned and strong. But most importantly I feel strong and fit.
Sav is diligent when it comes to safe exercise and working around health issues that might crop up. None of us has ever been injured while training. For a while I had a very sore rotator cuff injury from something stupid I did and Sav worked around it and had me doing my physio prescribed rehab exercises. It's fine now.
We have a great time training with Sav, so does our dog as he gets lots of Sav pats. There’s hard work and lots of laughs, it’s perfect!

The run leg of my races are no longer as hard as they used to be. Any running leg of the race was something I always dreaded and have struggled with especially in competition. Not this year!
